I was soon walking without a cane, but had residual muscles constriction (and restriction) which was quite painful. In June, I was fortunate to have Donald & Cheryl Lynne Rubbo work hands-on to strengthen my body’s energy, and Donald taught me a series of short exercises. The exercise routine, which I practiced 5 days a week, took about 15 minutes. When I saw the Rubbos again in August, 2009, Donald added energy work and another exercise. As of this writing, I have no severe muscle tightening and walk pain free. I still have some minor restrictions, but know that with continued practice they, too, will disappear. Upon recommendation, I met with Donald Rubbo to discuss recent declines in my health. After a left knee surgery, I became very fearful and my body was reacting negatively. Both knees were affected in the process. We discussed the fear and waning energies, which linked back to several events that left me with a sense of deep grief, loss and a sense of aloneness. I felt totally disempowered by these experiences.
The knee condition mirrored my inner sense of not feeling supported. However, when a person is "deep in the midst of a healing crisis", they cannot heal on their own. In meeting with Donald, we discussed what was going on and I felt a great sense of relief in that he tuned right in to the multiple levels of energetic wounding that I had experienced, which was leading to multi system-shutdown. He suggested numerous visioning techniques to get myself back on the positive track and out of grief and loss. These techniques reminded me to utilize my intention and imagine best outcomes. Through hands-on energy healing, he was able to amplify energy flow in an injured shoulder. He adjusted a very painful misalignment in the right knee that neither a chiropractor, osteopath, or orthopedic physician had been able to remedy. It made a HUGE difference in my ability to walk normally. Through the session with Donald, I feel my own energy received a "jump start" and the healing continues in waves that ebb and flow. As we all know, there is no quick fix; I have to continue to do my part of staying positive and envisioning the best outcomes. Since the body and cells hear every thought and feel one's emotions, I now choose to speak kindly and lovingly to my cells and body. I must remember: I have the power to heal through right use of mind, will and spirit to create harmony within and without. The choices are there to be made - every day and minute, with every breath and heartbeat.
